GenderQueer Revolution is proud to co-sponsor Cal State Long Beach's Diversity Week, 2008. GenderQueer Revolution's Alexander Yoo will be participating on the panel titled, LGB…T?: Employment Legislation on Gender Identity Issues on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 from 3:30-4:30 pm in the University Student Union, Room 205.

The purpose of LGBT Diversity Week at CSULB is to highlight intersections among different aspects of identity. For students who identify as double-, triple-, or quadruple-minorities, being LGBT is only one aspect of their identity. The majority of students who utilize the LGBT Resource Center also identity as ethnic minorities. Rather than organizing programs that focus solely on sexual orientation or gender identity, we wanted to try and look at these same issues through lenses of race, ethnicity, culture, and class.
